Montrose Collective recently welcomed its newest tenant, Okto! This new Mediterranean-Levantine restaurant brings a modern twist to Greek-inspired dishes with flavors and ingredients straight from the coast. Its moody and sophisticated atmosphere makes it ideal for date nights or small group gatherings.
Start with their Frena, which arrives soft, warm, and airy. At Okto, this Mediterranean classic comes with rich pistachio butter, tangy olives, and pickled peppers, everything you need to kick off the meal.
For seafood lovers, the Sea Bass Carpaccio and Grilled Octopus are great options! The Bass dish is delicate and refreshing, layered with light citrus that enhances the natural sweetness of the sea bass. It’s got just the right balance of acidity and zest. The Grilled Octopus is tender with a hint of smokiness and served with a vibrant Romesco sauce, bruleed onion, and chives for a balance of sweetness and crunch. It’s the kind of dish that hits all the right flavors.
And let’s talk about those Lamb Chops! Juicy and perfectly seasoned, these beauties come with creamy cauliflower and sunchoke skordalia, topped with pearl onions that add a hint of sweetness. They’re the top pick when you’re in the mood for something savory.
Beyond the food, Okto also has a fantastic drink menu that perfectly complements the flavors of each dish. And for those looking to enjoy a more affordable visit, the extended happy hour on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5 to 7 pm offers $12 cocktails and some delicious food specials—an ideal time to sample some of Okto’s offerings without breaking the bank. For mid-week fun, a DJ sets the vibe on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 11 pm, where cocktail samples are served up to keep the good vibes flowing!
