New Fogo de Chao Location Now Open in Cypress, Texas

Great news for steak lovers up north—Fogo de Chão has officially opened its fourth Houston-area location in Cypress, and we had the chance to check it out during their VIP event! If you’ve never been to this Brazilian steakhouse, get ready for a dining experience unlike any other. Between the endless tableside service of fire-roasted meats, the fresh and flavorful Market Table, and the perfectly mixed cocktails, this spot is a must for any meat lover.

Fogo de Chão is all about the Churrasco Experience, a continuous tableside service where expert gaucho chefs carve sizzling cuts of beef, lamb, pork, and chicken right onto your plate. Their most popular cut, the picanha, is a rich, tender Brazilian specialty that always steals the show, but the variety doesn’t stop there. From flavorful lamb chops to juicy chicken wrapped in bacon, every bite is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.

For those looking to elevate their meal, Fogo offers indulgent add-ons like A5 Wagyu, dry-aged tomahawk steaks, and whole branzino. And if you’re in the mood for seafood, their chilled seafood platters are an incredible way to start. The lobster was seriously so tender, the whole table was raving! And no visit is complete without trying a Caipirinha, Brazil’s signature cocktail made with fresh muddled limes, sugar, and Cachaça. It’s refreshing, citrusy, and pairs perfectly with all the bold flavors on the table.

If you're not in the mood for the full Churrasco Experience, Bar Fogo is the perfect spot to grab a drink and enjoy smaller, shareable plates. Their empanadas, paired with a glass of wine or a handcrafted cocktail, make for a great happy hour stop. And, of course, dessert is a must. The Crème Brûlée and Tres Leches were amazing, we were fighting for the last bite!
