New Trendy Korean Street Food and Karaoke Lounge: Soju Blues

If you are ever in the mood to unleash your inner Beyonce, look no further than Soju Blues, Houston’s newest karaoke bar and lounge. It’s the perfect place to hang out with friends for a late-night sesh! Enjoy a mix of karaoke, drinks, and mouthwatering Korean street food.

Located in the hustle and bustle of Chinatown, Soju Blues brings a trendy and energetic atmosphere that sets the stage for a great night of entertainment. The bar offers karaoke rooms, making it easy for groups to get together and belt like no one’s watching. Rates are $40 per hour for groups of up to 8, $70 per hour for up to 15, and $100 per hour for groups larger than 25. But if your group spends $100 or more on food and drinks, Soju Blues will waive the first hour of karaoke—for us, that’s an excuse to order more food!

But the fun doesn't stop at karaoke. Soju Blues’ menu is packed with Korean street food favorites, the best for enjoying with soju and other drinks throughout the night. Standout dishes include their Bossam, a classic Korean dish of boiled pork belly, and Bulgogi, a savory and sweet marinated beef that melts in your mouth. Other must-try items include the Scallion Pancake, creamy Rose Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), stir-fried squid, and fluffy Steamed Eggs. Each dish is a perfect late-night snack, packed with savory and bold flavors that pair perfectly with drinks and a good time!

Soju Blues has several great specials that make it a prime spot for a midweek or weekend outing. Happy Hour runs Monday through Thursday from 5-8 p.m., and takes 20% off your entire tab, including karaoke! On Wednesdays, ladies can take advantage of the Ladies Night promo which includes a free bottle of soju. They’re deals destined to make it out the groupchat.
