Houston just got a touch of timeless elegance with the opening of The Kennedy, nestled right on the cusp of Montrose and River Oaks. This new hotspot is all about channeling that “old money” vibe, with tasteful nods to Kennedy-era sophistication. Its walls are adorned with stunning artwork, creating a space that feels as refined as it is inviting—perfect for date nights, upscale celebrations, or just a classy escape from the ordinary.
The menu is as polished as the ambiance, and we noticed they love putting modern twists on old classics! For example, The Kennedy Mozzarella Stick which featured creme fraiche and caviar on a potato chip mozzarella stick. Some of our favorites included the Gremolata Lamb Chops and Ribeye Tartar. But don’t skip dessert—the Burrata Ice Cream Sundae is the perfect sweet finale! The drink offerings were also beautiful and chic, with a curated wine list and signature cocktails designed to match the venue’s elevated aesthetic.
To set the mood, The Kennedy features live music from Wednesday to Saturday starting at 6 PM, offering a soundtrack to your evening. During our visit, they had a live jazz vocalist and accompanying pianist. It’s a space where every detail feels intentional, from the dress code to the 21+ policy, ensuring that every visit feels like a special occasion.
If you’re searching for a spot to impress, celebrate, or simply bask in a bit of luxury, The Kennedy is your answer. Elegance, artistry, and great food—this is Houston dining redefined.
