Build Snowmen, Meet Santa, and View 3M+ Holiday Lights Just Outside of Houston: Dewberry Farm

Dewberry Farm felt like stepping into a holiday dream! Just 45 minutes outside Houston in Brookshire, Texas, the farm transforms into a festive wonderland from November 22 through December 23. We were instantly charmed by the festive Christmas atmosphere, complete with over 3 million twinkling lights, endless activities, and all the nostalgic holiday vibes you could hope for! It was the perfect way to embrace the season and make some memories.

The Trail of Lights was the star of the show. Imagine sipping hot cocoa while riding a wagon through stunning holiday displays—it felt like being wrapped in a snow globe of sparkling lights. And if you opt for the VIP package, you can skip the lines, enjoy unlimited hot cocoa, a festive Christmas cookie, and even special glasses that turn the lights into magical shapes— pure holiday magic!

There was so much to do beyond the lights. We saw families having a blast building snowmen with real snow (yes, snow in Texas!), a Santa’s Snowball Toss game, and even gemstone mining for an extra cost! There’s paintball for thrill-seekers and the little ones were all smiles at the pony rides. With over 40 rides and attractions on the farm, we could have spent the whole day exploring! Before you head home, you can choose a fresh Christmas tree to bring an extra touch of holiday magic back.

The food options were just as festive as the farm itself! We indulged in seasonal cookies, but there were also turkey legs, tacos, burgers, and so much more to keep everyone fueled for the fun.
